A tribute to Kevin Keegan and the week he wore Blacktown red.

In 1985, the two-time Ballon d'Or winner, European Cup champion and England captain swapped Europe's biggest pitches for Western Sydney. He played two NSL matches for Blacktown City and scored once. This Legacy jersey honours that week and the late Keegan's lasting mark on the club and on football here and abroad.

Every detail comes from the club archive. The chevron is from Blacktown's 1980s campaigns, the tonal stripes are from the 1989 kit, and the mock sponsor nods to the Noel Schmutter Ford dealership that appeared on most club kits in the 1980s. On the back is the No. 8 Keegan wore on debut, with his famous "Love it!" quote.
